Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 29, 2026

1. Scope and Service Name

This Privacy Policy explains how AYLO handles information for aylo.technology, the mobile application currently called AYLO Core, and any future renamed or successor version of that application (together, the "Service"). A change to the public name or icon of the app does not change the protections in this Policy. The Service includes account profiles, avatars, social posts, messages, family and organizer features, optional health and fitness tools, gifts, internal credits, Storage, notifications, moderation tools and focused internal experiences such as spiritual utilities.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information that you provide or create when using the website or app, including:

  • Account information such as name, username, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender and optional religion selection.
  • Profile information such as avatar choice, bio, profile photo, residence and optional physical characteristics you choose to provide.
  • User content such as posts, photos, videos, captions, comments, likes, follows, faction activity and reports.
  • Messages, gifts, MOON Credits transfers, digital item purchases, Storage inventory and wallet ledger records.
  • Precise or approximate location when you allow location-based features such as prayer times, Qibla direction or nearby features.
  • Health and fitness information you choose to connect or record, such as steps, distance, active energy, heart rate and workout history.
  • Organizer information you enter, including routines, medication or vitamin reminders, goals, debts, bills, income and other financial planning details.
  • Family information, including guardian-child relationships, assigned tasks, completion evidence, school or activity status and notifications shared within an authorized family group.
  • Contacts only when you choose a feature that finds people you know and grant the requested device permission.
  • Camera, microphone, speech, photo or video information only when you choose a feature that needs it and grant the requested permission.
  • Device identifiers such as notification tokens and product-interaction information needed to operate, secure and improve the Service.
  • Physical-order information such as shipping and billing address, phone number, order history and Stripe payment status when you open an eligible Stripe-hosted checkout from the app or website.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Create and secure accounts.
  • Save profile, avatar, Storage, social and app progress state across your devices.
  • Show posts, comments, followers, factions, messages, gifts and notifications.
  • Process physical-product orders and communicate about them.
  • Personalize eligible service availability and nearby features using the account preferences and location you choose to provide.
  • Calculate prayer times, Qibla and related utilities when enabled by the user.
  • Show private health, fitness, organizer and family progress features that the user or authorized guardian enables.
  • Send transactional, safety, family, task, workout and reminder notifications you enable.
  • Moderate reports, block abusive behavior, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms.
  • Provide support, troubleshoot errors and improve reliability.

4. Payments and MOON Credits

Payments for physical products may be processed by Stripe through a hosted checkout opened from the app or website. The Service may use platform payment systems for digital items when enabled. MOON Credits are internal app credits only. They are not external currency, securities, bank balances, cash balances, investment products or guaranteed earnings.

We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes. Stripe and Apple process payment information under their own privacy policies and payment rules.

5. Apple Health and Sensitive Information

Apple Health access is optional and requested through Apple's permission screen. When enabled, the Service may read steps, walking or running distance, active energy, heart rate and workouts, and may save a workout and its distance to Apple Health after you start and finish it. You can change Apple Health permissions in iOS Settings or the Health app. We do not use health, precise location, child or religious information for third-party advertising, data-broker sales, eligibility decisions, credit decisions, insurance decisions or employment decisions.

6. Service Providers and Disclosures

We may use trusted service providers to operate the website and app, including:

  • Supabase for authentication, database and storage services.
  • Cloudflare for media delivery, video and asset infrastructure.
  • Vercel for API and website hosting.
  • Apple, Expo and APNs for app distribution, notifications and mobile platform services.
  • Stripe for eligible app-initiated or website checkout and payment processing.

Providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their role and are required to protect it under their contracts and applicable law. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. User Content, Safety and Moderation

The Service includes social and user-generated content features. Public profile information and public posts can be seen by other users. Direct messages and authorized Family information are intended for their selected recipients, but may be reviewed when reported or when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention or legal compliance. Reports, moderation decisions, blocked users, appeals and safety actions may be stored so we can protect users, enforce rules and respond to abuse.

8. Cookies, Analytics and Tracking

The website may use cookies or similar technologies for basic operation, analytics and security. The current mobile app does not track users across other companies' apps or websites for advertising and does not use third-party advertising tracking. If that changes, we will update this Policy, the App Store privacy information and obtain any permission required by the platform or law before enabling it.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information. You can edit profile information in the app, use in-app account deletion, or contact us for help. You can also withdraw optional permissions through device settings and adjust eligible notifications inside the app or device settings. Withdrawing permission may disable the related feature but does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

10. Account Deletion

If you created an account, you can request account deletion from profile settings. The request deletes the authentication account and removes or de-identifies associated information from active systems, subject to a limited period needed to complete deletion from backups and service-provider systems. We may retain narrowly scoped records when required for taxes, payment disputes, fraud prevention, safety, legal compliance or enforcement. A retained record is restricted to that purpose and is not used to continue ordinary account features.

11. Children and Family

General accounts are not intended for children under 13. A child account may be added to Family only through an age-appropriate guardian flow that is enabled for the user's country. Guardians must have authority to create or link the child account. Child location, school and task information is restricted to authorized family members, is not used for advertising or tracking, and can be disconnected or deleted through the account controls. Family features remain unavailable until required consent and age controls are configured for the applicable jurisdiction. A guardian or child may disconnect an eligible Family relationship through the available controls, subject to applicable age and safety requirements. We do not knowingly sell or use child information for targeted advertising.

12. Security, Storage and Retention

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce rules and maintain security. Health, precise location and child data are access-restricted and are retained only while needed for the enabled feature or a documented legal and safety requirement. Organizer and medical-card records that are expressly marked as on-device remain on that device until the user deletes them, resets the feature or removes the app, unless the user separately chooses an export or sync feature. Live Activity, widget and lock-screen display of sensitive progress requires a separate user choice and can be turned off in the app or iOS settings.

13. International Processing

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use contractual or other lawful safeguards for cross-border transfers.

14. Changes

We may update this Policy as the Service develops or is renamed. Material changes will be presented through the Service or another appropriate channel before they take effect when required by law. The updated date will appear on this page.
